Combined, our networks tap into a broad base of U.S. partners across all aspects of business — from legal, to regulatory, to academic and research. Team Switzerland has a no-wrong-door policy for Swiss companies looking for opportunities in the U.S. market and aims to provide a road map and support network across the U.S. for any endeavor that will add value to the Swiss or U.S. economy.

Swissmem with its 1’300 member companies is the leading industry association for both SMEs and major corporations in the Swiss manufacturing & technology industry. The organization provides member companies with professional advice, extensive networks and support in digitalization, while also, at a political level, advocates for good framework conditions and an innovative center of industry in Switzerland.
Swissmem puts a strong focus on helping members with access to global export markets, the effective promotion of innovation, and a liberal labor market. Training of dedicated professionals at all levels for the industry is a top priority as is the investment in in future-oriented training for young people. Swiss Machine Tool Society
SMTS’ mission is to help members bring value to their customers and in doing so, the Swiss machine tool and accessories industry’s North American sales and operating companies will continue to flourish. The organization is successful thanks to an effective combination of networking, promotion, best practice sharing and providing its members access to customer events that strengthen the image of Swiss technology.
SMTS is passionate about its emphasis on customer support to ensure that customers fully benefit from Swiss products’ quality, strengthening N. American industry. The organization is part of a broad network of other industry groups such as AMT and other Swiss groups such as SABC and the Swiss Business Hub.

The Swiss Business Hub USA is the official Swiss export and investment promotion agency for the U.S. market. Our team of trade commissioners are uniquely positioned to keep a finger on the pulse of the dynamic bilateral business environment between the U.S. and Switzerland.
The Swiss Business Hub is embedded in the global infrastructure of Switzerland Global Enterprise and the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, putting us at the intersection of the public and private sector. In close partnership with the FDFA Embassy and Consular teams in the U.S. (New York, San Francisco, Boston, and Atlanta) we support Swiss companies as they assess risks and opportunities for entering the U.S. market, and we promote Switzerland as a top business location.

SABC
The Swiss American business council (SABC) creates and promotes an active Swiss American business community in Chicago and the U.S. Midwest through events, information exchange and networking and special services.

Consulate General of Switzerland Chicago
The Swiss consulate general maintains relations with state and local authorities of the 11 U.S. states in its jurisdiction, promotes trade relations, investments, fosters relations between all interested parties and furthers Switzerland’s interests through public diplomacy.
Their goal is to bring partners in Switzerland and the Midwest together to further strengthen this excellent bilateral relationship. An outstanding example of a fruitful cooperation is the sister city relationship between Chicago and the Swiss city of Lucerne.

Swissnex
Swissnex is the Swiss global network for education, research and innovation and covers the promotion of Swiss education, research and innovation capabilities.
By building local partnerships in key innovation hubs in the U.S., they provide an important link to innovation ecosystems for early-stage startups in San Francisco, Boston, and New York.
